POTATO STARCH

“MINSK KRISTALL” starch is a high quality product obtained by our specialists from selected potatoes. It is a dry powder with white or slightly grayish color. Starch is well for body: it reduces the cholesterol content in the liver and blood serum, has anti-sclerotic properties. Potato starch contains a lot of potassium, which helps to remove extra water from the body, which makes it an essential food for people suffering from kidney disease. Potato Starch can be used to replace cornstarch in most baking recipes. Potato starch powder tolerates higher temperatures than cornstarch, making it an excellent thickener for sauces, soups and stews. It adds moistness to any baked goods and is an essential ingredient in gluten free baking.
